Hi All – it’s time to count down Mantel and Table’s Top 10 posts of 2019! I was so excited to find out which were your favorite posts last year.
And without further ado, here they are, counting down from 10 to 1!
#10 ~ Love Your Mantel! 3 Ways to Use Beautiful Flowers
Number 10 was on my personal Top 10 Posts list too. These pink flowers and eucalyptus were so pretty, I couldn’t help styling them several ways. I liked the different vibes of all three. See what you think!
#9 ~ The Amazing Book That Will Change Your Life
Ok – this one I KNEW would be in the Top 10 Posts because it really IS an amazing book! It DID change my life! And if you’ve already read it, I bet it changed yours too! If you haven’t read it yet, you really should! (Not that I’m a total evangelist about it or anything .. !)
#8 ~ Luxurious Snowy White, Sparkling Crystal, & Evergreens Combine for a Perfect Holiday Tablescape!
Oh I loved this table! You all liked it too – maybe for the simple yet elegant centerpiece, or maybe the white and silver palette. Or maybe those lovely candelabra I got at the fancy Good Will downtown! Whatever the reason, this table came in at number 8.
#7 ~ Vignettes & Baseboards – A More Elegant Home Was Never So Easy!
This was a fun one! It sort of cracked me up that after years of wondering what made some houses seem so elegant, I would decide it’s something as basic as keeping the baseboards visible!
#6 ~ Beautiful Thanksgiving Tablescape + Free Printable Place Cards Exclusive to Mantel and Table!
Obviously you like printables! The Members Library page actually came in with the second highest number of views last year, behind the home page. I figured those two didn’t count in the Top 10 Posts, because they’re not really posts, but this one has printable place cards, so that was a clue!
#5 ~ State Fair Tablescape Competition #1 – Planning
And who doesn’t love a good competition?! This post was so fun because I love to plan my state fair entry every year, and there’s always so much to discuss! My long-suffering husband must be so glad when September comes, because he gets a seven month break from State Fair talk – mostly!
#4 ~ Create a Sparkling Table with Bright Fall Leaves, Rich Gold, & Candlelight
I thought this table was so quintessentially fall! You must have agreed with me, because it waltzed in at number 4! It was super easy too – Mother Nature did most of the decorating!
#3 – Pink Flowers & White Pumkins! A Fresh Fall Tablescape
Here we have pink flowers and eucalyptus again – a truly lovely combination! Number 3 in the Top 10 Posts is this tablescape that says fall in kind of a different way. The pumpkins make it obvious what season it is, but it’s completely light and bright. Quite a contrast to the cozy number 4!
#2 – State Fair Tablescape Competition #3 – 2019 Reveal
And who doesn’t love ANOTHER good competition?! This one was extra fun for me because, as one of my good blogging friends advised, I got to crow a little bit!
#1 ~ Thanksgiving Tablescape 2019: Lush and Dramatic
Ta-Daa!! And now, Mantel and Table readers’ favorite post of 2019 – Our Thanksgiving Tablescape! As I mentioned in the post, this was a little bit of a departure for me. I find so much inspiration in my fellow tablescapers’ blogs, and I just had to try some of their ideas. This table was the result. I’m so glad you liked it too!
Let me know what you’d like to see in 2020, and thank you SO MUCH for sharing Mantel and Table with me this last year! I’ve loved your comments and ideas, and your never ending encouragement! I appreciate you more than I can ever say!
Thank you again, and here’s to another great year of sharing and inspiration!

HI Barbara – your Top Ten posts are absolute winners!!!!
I think it is really neat your state fair has a tablescape section. I wonder if ours does?? How does one find out??
Keep up the great posts – and happy new year to you!

Hi Michelle! Thanks so much – I love writing each and every one! 💗 I bet if you Googled your state fair then look at the Contests/Competitions section, they’d say if they have a table setting competition. I think in some states you have to come up through the county fair system, but in Oregon you can go direct to state. What state are you in? I’d be happy to find out and report back! 😉
I’m so glad you stopped by – thanks for being here this year!
