Our little Traveling Teacup has finished resting up from her year+ travels, and was out visiting a new friend for a new Halloween tradition!
Catching Up with The Traveling Teacup
But first, if you’re just joining us and wonder what’s going on, here’s the post that started it all The Exciting Beginnings of The Traveling Teacup.
We’re now into year two of her travels! If you’d like to see year one, here’s the post that shows the whole map. You can work your way backward or go in any order you want!
Here are her stops in year two so far:
- A gorgeous farm in Estacada OR, the home of brilliant blogger, table stylist, and entrepreneur Renae Frey.
- An exciting train ride to Santa Fe NM with the always fun and creative Albuquerque blogger, Jeanne Washburn.
- To Amherst OH and the home of talented tea loving Renaissance Woman and Mantel and Table reader, Valerie.
- A Stop in Ooltewah, TN over the Memorial Day Weekend to visit Lilly, a nursing professor and fellow tea lover.
- A lovely tour of Paducah KY with fabulous cook, writer, and food & lifestyle blogger Leslie Watkins.
- Montz LA for a visit with Tracie, who shared her beautiful home, even in extra rainy weather.
Stop #7 ~ A Very Quick Halloween Visit with Corrine in Largo FL
Tessa Rose, our Traveling Teacup, actually came home between stops 6 & 7, but I’m going to keep that back and forth off the map, and take you directly to Florida!
If she had flown directly there, it would have been about 671 miles, crossing the Gulf of Mexico. She hasn’t had too many flights over the water. (Except the one to The Netherlands in year one, of course!) This was a mini-trip, just popping in to say hi and share a new Halloween tradition.
A Tingling Tiny Traveling Teacup Tale
Here’s Corrine to tell us about her visit with Tessa Rose.
I have the pleasure of hosting Tessa Rose in my Florida home. I recently married at this beginning of this year and I wanted to start some fun and memorable traditions.
Strolling through the bookstore (which I love to do) I came across Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, so this year we started the tradition of reading Sleepy Hollow the week leading up to Halloween.
What a great idea – I’m so happy that Tessa Rose could be a part of it!
