Come along with me – it’s time for fall shopping!
I’m so happy to be joining in the next installment of “There’s No Place Like Home” Autumn Blog Hop hosted by Rachelle at My Hubbard Home!
If you’re just coming from Jenna’s lovely post, or if you found your own way here, Welcome! It’s wonderful to have you. Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for the next stop on our fall shopping tour!
I usually treat myself to a few new things every season, so I’m sharing my favorites. Some are things I already have and love. And some are special ones that I know I will love. (As soon as I rescue them from my online cart and get them home!)
So let’s go! Just click the photos to get your own wonderful fall shopping treats.
Fall Shopping for the Table
There’s just about nothing so wonderful as a fall tablescape!
And these copper chargers are some of my favorite basics. You can see them in action on this table.
Also they’re a great transition to the festive holiday and winter season. Check out this Christmas Eve table.
Fall starts the celebration season at our house. We usually have a big wine party – which won’t be happening this year, obviously. But we will be having some distance dinners and happy hours, plus our own festive evenings! So excellent wine glasses are a must!
I love these – they’re my very favorite!
Here are some other great fall shopping items for your beautiful tabletop
Fall Baking
One of the best things about fall shopping is finding all the baking goodies! If you’re like me, you start baking up a storm when the weather turns brisk.
The copper whisk is one of my favorite baking tools. And the other things are pretty ok too!
Vanilla? YES! As a frequent baker, I have my favorite vanillas for various purposes. And this Rodelle is my very favorite for cookies, fall breads, and cakes. It’s so smooth and warm, not sharp and spicy like some others. Give it a try – I bet you’ll love it too!
These tiny cake pans are the best! They make a little scoop in the middle so you can fill it with yummy filling. You can see one of the cakes I made in them here. They’re so fun, and just the right tiny size!
Fall Shopping for Cozy
Of course another thing I go fall shopping for is cozy throws, blankets, pillows, and things to snuggle up in. Here’s a lovely little selection!
Books To Read While You’re Cozied Up
If there’s anything I love in the whole world, it’s reading! And doing some fall shopping for books. And if there are beautiful photos, even better!
This first one is a new book by a blogger I truly admire! Helen from Entertablement has written this one about her gorgeous tablescapes. It’s packed with her stunning photos. If you like tablescapes, you’ll LOVE Entertablement – The Four Seasons!
And I’m sure you all know about Cortney from French Country Cottage and her newest book. It’s completely wonderful! I love her magical photography and her gatherings are indeed inspired.
I love books so much I wrote a post about them a while ago. CLICK HERE for my 10 Random Favorites. There are some fabulous fiction, mystery, garden, personal development, and food books in there!

What a lovely collection of fall wants or needs! I am so sorry about your wine party. Those pillow covers…I bought them last year, but can’t find two of them!! I guess I put them away too well!! I hope you still have opportunities to enjoy this season, even with just close family! HUGS! Chloe

Hi Chloe! I know – we’re really bummed about no wine party this year. They’re always so much fun! That’s too funny about your pillow covers – I do the same thing, and sometimes just end up buying more, because I know as soon as I get the new ones, the old ones will show back up! 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by – Happy Fall Thursday!

Barbara, I love to bake, but hate to exercise 🙁
Your picks are perfect for the season. Especially love the copper chargers and the pumpkin plates. They will both look beautiful on one of your fall tablescapes.
Thanks for a second week of hopping!

I love your copper chargers Barbara, wow, what a great accessory. The mini cake pans are great too and you have me wanting to have a new throw to get cozy in and read a book! I am a huge pumpkin lover and am drooling over the plates and pillows. Thanks for all the links and ideas!
