Hi All – Not only is this teacup the smallest ever on Teacup Tuesday, it’s also the smallest post ever!
In Memoriam
This post is to honor my beautiful mother.
Last Saturday she died. She was over 90 years old, and ready to go. It was quick and peaceful, and all the things you could hope for, for someone you love.
This little demitasse cup was hers. She loved it particularly because it had come to her from her mother. I’m so happy to be continuing the chain of mother to daughter caretaking of this darling teacup.
If she’s watching, I know she’ll be so tickled to see her cup on the blog. I hope she is!

Thank you so much Shannon! 💗 She had only been sick for a week or so – it was kind of a shock. But she was ready and I’m happy she’s not in pain anymore. I so appreciate you being here – thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and hugs!
