I originally did this pink table setting in the early springtime, but it’s really a perfect color combination for any season! Or any occasion – Valentine’s, Birthday, Mother’s Day, you name it!
Deep Velvety Flowers
Our community garden is blooming, and I couldn’t resist picking some of these gorgeous flowers. I don’t know what kind they are, but they grow on a bush about 3 feet tall. If you know what they might be, let me know!
Anyway, once I got them home, I just had to set an outdoor table. (Right after I took some teacup pictures with them!)
Pink Linens for a Pink Table Setting
I wanted to set off those deep colors, so thought I’d use my pink linens. I’ve had these for years, and I don’t even remember now where they came from. Vintage and antique stores often have lots of linens like this – you might get some pretty good deals.
Or if you don’t want to wait, you can find some similar ones at the bottom of this post.
White Dinner Plate With Relief Pattern
The dinner plate of our stack is so beautiful with its relief pattern of grapes and leaves. I got these from a friend after she used them in a mix and match table setting for her daughter’s wedding dinner. Each place setting at every table was different, and so charming!
I just love the texture, especially paired with this beautiful smooth white and gold china.
Haviland & Co Limoges
This gold-rimmed Haviland china was a gift from SIL, my sister in law and partner in tableware crime. She had originally given me a teacup in a slightly different pattern, then found these salad plates and soup bowls that complimented it perfectly!
The pattern is called Silver Anniversary. (Which I thought was funny, since it’s actually gold …) But the name notwithstanding, it would totally look beautiful for an anniversary party! And it certainly adds a touch of elegance to our pink table setting.
Gold Flatware To Match
And nothing like upping the elegance quotient with some gold flatware!
Give Our Pink Table Setting Some Elegant Sparkle
And sparkly crystal!
Spring Tête-à-Tête
I hope your spring is springy enough to try a pink table setting outside. But if not, I’m sure it would work just as well inside where it’s nice and warm!
Happy Spring Everyone!

Rachelle says
LOL, I was going to ask what kind of flowers they are! Well, they are beautiful with all the soft pink and delicate rimmed china. Pink is one of my favorite colors, and for some reason, I struggle to use it in tablespaces.
Thanks for sharing at the FWF link party 🙂
Barbara Leone says
Ha – my best friend told me they’re wallflowers. They sure are pretty. You could just grab yourself a pink tablecloth, and then you’ll never have trouble with a pink tablescape again! 🙂 So glad you stopped by Rachelle, and see you tomorrow!

I think I’m in love with this silver anniversary china! I love how it reminds me of vintage china but its much easier to track down because its not. You showcased it beautifully too, simply stunning elegance!
